Aphids is an artist-led organsation that creates contemporary cross-artform works using performance, music, site-specificity and new technologies. Aphids works collaboratively and internationally and has researched, developed and presented work in Australia, Asia, Europe, South Africa, Mexico and the USA.

Ararat Performing Arts Centre
APAC is located in the the city's historic 1899 town hall building. Presentations cater for audiences from pre-school and school aged children through to variety morning musical concerts for seniors. The theatre program also includes comedy and country music presentations.

Art Gallery of Ballarat
Established in 1884, the Art Gallery of Ballarat is Australia’s oldest and largest regional gallery with a remarkably comprehensive collection of Australian art, including Arnhem Land bark paintings, landmark works of the Heidelberg, Social Realist and the Angry Penguins periods. The Gallery's other treasures include Medieval manuscripts, the nation's most comprehensive collection of works by the Lindsay family, and the original flag from the 1854 Eureka Stockade.

Astra Chamber Music Society
The Astra Chamber Music Society is primarily a concert organization for choral music and contemporary performance, presenting an annual subscription season in Melbourne. Other activities extend to publishing of scores and an Astra CD recording label. Concerts are centred on the work of the Astra Choir, and bring together a characteristic blend of new music with unusual repertoire from the past. From the choral medium, with all its huge variety of repertoire and spatial possibilities, Astra programs branch out to instrumental performances from guest artists, and to interactions of live music with other media - electro-acoustics, movement and the spoken word.
