The Victorian Government offers a range of funding programs for the design industry and to promote the use and benefits of design thinking among businesses. Here’s a quick overview of what’s currently on offer. For full program details, visit the grants and assistance section of the Business Victoria website.
To facilitate design-led economic growth, the Government has developed the Design to Business (D2B) program.
D2B Integration helps firms to use design across their business activities to become more innovative and to achieve sustained competitiveness and growth. Targeted at progressive, ambitious, stable Victorian small to medium enterprises, the program offers a structured audit, planning and mentoring process to make design central to business operations and to create innovative products or services.
Visit the D2B Integration website for more information.
D2B Insight offers a series of workshop-based, immersive learning experiences, to help local businesses understand how to integrate design into their operations. This includes how to adapt to changing market conditions and be better attuned to the unmet needs of customers; understanding what world-best practice design looks like and how to measure against it; and discovering new capabilities and offerings that deliver above average margins and sustain growth.
